THE CHALLENGE
Every UK organisation has to ensure all data relating to trades, transactions and accounting practices is auditable and stored for five years. If you operate in the public sector, you are further affected by the Freedom of Information Act. This states you must comply with requests from the general public for information.

THE SOLUTION
We've designed the IFB Backup and Recovery Service to make backing up and recovering business data simple. Through considerable investment in enterprise level software and hardware, we're able to provide a highly secure, flexible and resilient service - whatever your business size. Critically, it's scalable, with standard options from 100GB to 240TB. All this means you won't need costly new hardware even if data increases or needs change.

We offer two models:

• Hosted (where your key servers are hosted within an IFB Data Centre).
• Connected (where your key servers are hosted within your own office network).

For both, we use industry-leading Commvault software, and install a software client on every server, workstation or laptop you want to back up. Through this, each device securely connects to our backup network hosted in an IFB Data Centre. By including laptops in the plan you can quickly and easily reinstate data if any of these devices are damaged, lost or stolen.

Managing your data on our systems couldn't be easier. Login through our secure web-based portal to view reports: on what data has been backed up, which devices are backing up correctly, where any issues may be, how much data you're backing up. Through this portal you can also retrieve a single file or a complete server farm, directly.
