Role Summary

The Head of Sales will lead the sales to achieve sustainable revenue growth across all divisions. This role is accountable for agreeing and executing sales strategy, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring accurate reporting and KPI tracking to drive accountability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Pick up and develop our sales strategy aligned with company objectives, customer demands and market movement

  • Drive new business acquisition and customer retention through targeted activity and relationship management

  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure alignment of messaging and lead generation

Reporting & KPIs

  • Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for senior leadership

  • Define and monitor KPIs including:

    • Revenue and margin targets

    • Pipeline health and conversion rates

    • Customer acquisition cost and lifetime value

  • Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve performance.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and achievement

  • Set clear objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement development plans

  • Ensure effective resource allocation and territory management

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Service Delivery to align sales initiatives with overall business goals

  • Represent the sales function in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within technology or related sectors

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM and reporting tools

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Have a great network that you work with and know

  • Ability to drive performance through clear KPIs and structured reporting

Performance Metrics

  • Achievement of revenue and margin targets

  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting

  • Team engagement and retention rates

  • Growth in customer base and market share

Reporting Cadence

  • Weekly: Pipeline updates and forecast accuracy

  • Monthly: KPI dashboard and team performance review

  • Quarterly: Strategic review and market analysis
