Marketing and Digital Media Assistant

April 2026

Location: Aberdeen office
Reports to: Marketing Lead
Company: Converged Solutions Group
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Company Overview

Converged Solutions Group Limited (CSG) is a Scottish technology group delivering a broad range of managed technology services to businesses across Scotland and beyond. Operating across four companies - Converged, IFB, Scot-Tech, and CRB - we bring together expertise in Managed IT Services (MSP), Internet & Connectivity (ISP), Electronic Security, Cyber Security, and Sales under one Group.

With a team of around 60 people, we work with SMEs and enterprises to manage, protect, and improve their technology infrastructure — acting as a trusted partner rather than a traditional supplier. We are a growing business with ambitious plans, and we are building the leadership team and disciplines to match that ambition.

“Our vision is to be the trusted technology management partner for SMEs to Enterprises, where we play a trusted role in supporting business productivity and efficiency.”

Role Summary

Converged Solutions Group is growing - and we want our marketing to reflect that. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious junior marketer to join the Group and work directly alongside our Marketing Lead to bring our story to life across multiple businesses, audiences, and channels.

This is a hands-on, varied role. You will be involved in everything from building and managing campaigns to tracking data and reporting on what’s working - supporting activity across all four businesses in the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management & Execution

  • Support the planning, building, and delivery of marketing campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, and print.

  • Manage campaign scheduling, content calendars, and publishing across all Group channels.

  • Coordinate campaign assets, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely, on-brand delivery.

  • Assist with the setup and management of paid digital campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, Meta) under the direction of the Marketing Lead.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and report on campaign performance across all channels — including email open rates, social engagement, website traffic, and lead generation.

  • Maintain and update the group’s marketing databases, ensuring contact data is accurate, segmented, and GDPR-compliant.

  • Produce regular performance dashboards and summary reports for the Marketing Lead and senior leadership.

  • Analyse campaign data to identify trends, surface insights, and make recommendations for improvement.

Content & Brand Support

  • Create and schedule content for the group’s social media channels, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all four businesses.

  • Draft marketing copy for emails, social posts, web pages, and supporting collateral.

  • Support the production of branded materials, presentations, and event assets.

  • Help maintain the group’s websites with updated content, news, and campaign landing pages.

Internal & Cross-Company Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across Converged, IFB, Scot-Tech, and CRB to gather content, understand business priorities, and ensure marketing activity is joined up.

  • Support internal communications activity where marketing and people engagement overlap.

  • Assist with the coordination of group events, industry attendance, and external-facing activity.

Skills & Experience

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline — or demonstrable equivalent experience.

  • Some hands-on experience in a marketing role, internship, or placement (agency or in-house both welcome).

  • Practical experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, or similar).

  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic analytics tools such as Google Analytics or platform dashboards.

  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus.

  • Exposure to B2B marketing environments is desirable but not essential.

Attributes & Approach

  • Organised and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and campaigns without things slipping.

  • A clear and confident communicator — comfortable writing copy and liaising with colleagues across different teams and businesses.

  • Curious and data-driven — interested in what the numbers say and how to use them to improve.

  • Creative — brings ideas, not just execution.

  • Self-motivated and proactive — doesn’t wait to be told what to do next.

  • A team player — works well with the Marketing Lead and across the wider group.

  • Ambitious — sees this as a launchpad, not just a job.

What We Offer

  • A varied role across a growing, multi-company technology group.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Hybrid working arrangements.

  • Genuine scope to grow within the group as the business develops.

  • A collaborative, people-first culture where your contribution is recognised.
